ALFAN’s history began in January 6 1983, when Arturo Vagni and his partners decided to enter the packaging industry.
A few years later, after the purchase of a printing press, the company expanded its production with a new line of bags and adhesive labels. That was ALFAN’s official debut in the bags and knitwear production industry.
In 1986, following the opening of a new company’s branch, ALFAN’s catalogues grew wider thanks to the introduction of a new series of items: adhesive labels for the packaging industry.
In 1993, after moving its headquarters and introducing a series of wise and innovative technologies, the company started the production of flexible films intended for the flowers and gift wrapping industry.
In 1995, finally, ALFAN decided to change its targets and started addressing its technologies and knowledge toward the production of food packaging. In order to be appropriately structured, it moved the production plant again and made various investments in order to improve the technological standards of its plants and machineries.
Since January 2006, ALFAN has a modern analysis laboratory which allows the constant analysis and quality check of its products.
ALFAN’s production cycle is almost totally autonomous and consists of the following specific processes: plannimg support (proper film structure and materials selection), assistance in the creation of the printing plant, flexographic printing, coupling, cutting, quality check.
